After a therapist notes that most men in Dennis' age demographic have already settled down, Dennis takes it as a personal challenge to procure a lifelong partner by the end of the week.
Of course, said therapist also points out that Dennis has never actually been able to maintain any long-term relationships outside of the Gang, which...somewhat limits his options. Cue a series of chaotic, half-baked attempts to date each member of the gang, one by one.
Or, my take on how Mac and Dennis might actually get together within the span of one episode.
