Zemo doesn’t break eye contact and while her gaze grows more heated (the less fun kind of heated), his only grows soft. He knows the guilt is written clear on his face when he feels her metal fingers loosen ever so slightly around his throat. “I’m sorry... moja ljubav. [... my love.]” He tells her, voice half whispered and slightly wavering as he finally bundles those words out to her. He knows she either won’t believe him or won’t care, and while that tears his undeserving soul apart, he knows she still needs to hear those words from him.
Bucky’s glare falters, but only when she feels her bottom lip begin to tremble does she finally let him go. She absolutely will not let him see her cry. Never again.

Bucky’s head snaps back to Ayo. He arches a brow when he sees her little smirk, quickly narrows his eyes at her clear challenge. Though, he’s not stupid – he leans in just so Ayo can hear his words as he whispers, “You just wanna kick my ass in front Shuri, don’t you?”
The slow, but clear growing of Ayo’s smirk is enough of an answer.
Bucky sighs, nods in acceptance. “OK, but... can you at least try to break the arm this time?” He glances briefly over his shoulder (sees Shuri talking to her friends.) “She’s starting to get suspicious.”
Ayo chuckles at that. “Oh, White Wolf. You are more pathetic now while in love, than I have ever seen you while broken.”
