That man then proceeded to lock his eyes with him, lips curled into a smirk mixed with a foreign emotion Sakura never saw.
With one single sentence, his life was forever changed.

One second, two seconds, three seconds. As seconds turned into a minute and nobody had an answer, a sense of dread began to replace the earlier joyous atmosphere. Everyone began looking around, asking if they knew or had seen Sakura. The same question was asked in the group chats.
When two days passed and nobody had seen Sakura, they all realized that they had lost after all.

Or, in a world where Itadori Wasuke never died, Yuji has been working as a firefighter, blissfully unaware of curses. He takes care of his grandfather, helps out around the neighborhood, and saves cats from trees in a quiet corner of Sendai.
