He hated him, absolutely despised him. Oh but how did he love him.. He grew up with the stories of the boy who lived, how he defeated dark lord in age one. And saw him at the first day of Hogwarts; saw his beautiful piercing green eyes wondering the big school and stood with the poor, stupid Weasley boy. He should’ve been with Draco! Only Draco was worthy enough to befriend with him! But no, he didn’t even consider to know him, he rejected his hand and spat sassy things on his face. So Draco hated him; hated how he could never have him, hated that Potter hated him, hated how he still wanted to be his friend and had this urge to make him regret his decisions.
But he couldn’t do it, he was always the enemy of the Potter, the boy who always watched him and his group from afar.
He couldn’t beat Ron, best friend of the Potter.
He couldn’t beat Hermione, the witch on the top of their classes.
He couldn’t beat himself, the man always loved the hero even at the age of 23.And when he thought he had him, he realized he was only a toy for Harry, nothing more. A toy that he’d drop when he no longer had fun. So he stood there alone, in a corner of a box, waiting for Harry to hold him even for a few seconds.
