Summary
"Plant your feet!" Billy Hargrove roars and Steve feels the crunch of his fist on his cheekbone like lightning down his entire skull.
He crumbles to the floor, a haze of pain and flashing lights and punches that won't stop raining down on him.
Max, Dustin, Lucas, and Mike — they're running away.
Billy stands before him, eyes glowing blue.
This isn't how it happens, Steve thinks firmly, blood running down his throat, and tightens his grip on the syringe that materializes in his hand.
