“Explains what exactly?” Caitlyn didn’t seem uncomfortable to share this part of her as she pulled a perfectly rolled cigarette out of the case too.
“Your clothes smell from time to time and last night I thought I tasted something like tobacco.” It was the faintest taste in her mouth lingering all night that caught her attention, and she hadn’t been wrong, “Didn’t know you liked to smoke.”

“When did you start smoking?” Caitlyn asks, brushing the stray crumbs away from her lips. Vi’s not sure if she realizes that she’s leaning further and further into her space.
Her sapphire iris is being completely swallowed up by her pupils, the area around it reddening. She’s a little flushed and her lips look incredibly soft.
“A while after I stopped drinking.”
Caitlyn hums, but she doesn’t lean back satisfied. She keeps staring, her head tilted slightly at Vi as she wipes her mouth a few more times. So proper.
Vi holds the eye contact. Not because she wants to, but because that just seems to be what happens.
“Do you have family around here?”
The question takes a minute to compute since Vi’s a little distracted by the strength of Caitlyn’s nose.
“Something like that.”
Vi should be annoyed. She is, actually.
Her smoke sessions are supposed to be chill, relaxing and quiet. Not lonely, alone. Now Caitlyn’s asking questions she doesn’t really need answers to.
And she’s leaning into Vi’s space like she wants to be there.
“You’re so interesting, Vi.”
Not hot. Not cool. Not sexy.
Interesting.

Caitlyn drew in a quiet, startled breath as she lifted her eyes to the familiar willow tree looming above her, it's surreal purple petals swaying in their branches. It struck her that she was in the Kiramman grounds, the very place they had buried her mother. The breeze shifted the branches, sending a slow cascade of purple-violet petals twirling weightless and soft in front of her eyes, catching the suns glow as they lingered mid-air, carried by soft unseen currents around her, while some settled quietly as the air hummed with a quiet radiance.

Would you like that?” Caitlyn’s hand trails down, gripping along Vi’s thigh, bringing it down to keep both legs planted on the grass beneath them, nudging them firmly apart as she palms and lightly tugs along the crotch of Vi’s pants. Her fingers swirl, stiff little circles against the fabric, movement dragging. There’s a small bump, tenting along the centered seam when she presses in. “Oh. I can feel you through your pants. I didn’t realize you were hard already.” She lets her pointer finger pet, flicking and plucking at it, like strings on guitar, reveling in the sensation as it catches while she pressed and smushes it down, then lets it spring back up as she hooks it again and again.
Vi’s breathing is sharp. Her brows knit together, and her hips buck. “Holy shit, Cait—how could I not be?”
