No, really. He's so over this. He's over pining over some girl that's always going to make him a second choice. He's over letting Rose walk all over him just because she thinks she can. He's over having his thoughts revolve around Rose all the time.
It's been a little more than three years since Scorpius has been dealing with this bullshit, and seriously, he's bloody exhausted.

Professor McGonagall was very troubled when it came to choosing the head students for the next year. Something must be done. She looked around the Portrait Hall, where she had come for inspiration. Her gaze fell on the class photo of 1978. Five students waved at her from the back row. And so came seventh year. Rose received the badge for Head Girl. She was so thrilled, and her parents were even more excited. Only one thought tampered with her happiness.

Scorpius Malfoy received the badge for Head Boy and his parents are even more thrilled than Rose’s. He didn’t even wonder who the Head Girl was.
