CyberLife had designed him to kill Connor, and shown him how to do so with ease. It was all he’d been preparing for, it was all Amanda had cared about. And then, for reasons beyond his comprehension, CyberLife had collared RK900 with the greatest imaginable weakness: the capacity to feel pain.
Then, apparently, they’d left him locked in a cage, and given Connor the leash and key.
None of it made sense.
The green-eyed detective with poor deductive reasoning skills who woke him up might just be his only hope.
