Summary
Keith’s doing just fine, thanks. So maybe he dropped out of college and maybe he doesn’t have what one might call “direction” in his life, but so what? He’s got a job he doesn’t hate, he’s got enough friends for his liking, he’s got Shiro, he’s got climbing on the weekends, he’s got the hookups with closeted college boys every once in awhile, and he’s fine. Happy. He doesn’t need anything to change.
That is, until he almost accidentally gets into a bar fight with an infuriatingly attractive river guide and then starts seeing said river guide everywhere and it turns out he's less infuriating but still definitely attractive, and, well—maybe Keith hasn’t been doing that fine. Maybe one thing can change.
Or: Keith and Lance fall into hate and then into love in quick succession. Also, there’s truck sex.

Feofan looked at the henna book, open on the table. At the ribbon marking a specific page.
"And the pattern," he said.
"One hundred and forty."
Feofan closed his eyes. Behind his eyelids the room glowed amber. The smoke from the hookah moved through the warm air and settled around him like something that had been waiting a very long time to do exactly this.
"You are," he said, very carefully, "the most deranged man who has ever lived."
"Yes," Zandik said.

“Are they gone?” Shiro asked, peering in the direction the paladins had just exited through. Adam rose an eyebrow but nodded.
“What wildly inappropriate comment have you been waiting to tell me?” He asked, a small smirk crawling on his face. When Shiro said nothing it disappeared, morphing into concern. “Takashi?”
“Are you sure you still want to get married?” Came the tentative response. It was soft and quiet. Adam stared “I just mean… When you first proposed I had black hair, two arms, and a lack of scars.” He wrinkled his nose. “A lot has changed.”
“You were also dying when I proposed to you.” Adam pointed out “That didn’t stop me… Why would any of that?” He asked and grabbed his hand “Besides, it’s not like you still aren’t the most beautiful person I’ve ever seen.” He added and Shiro snorted, rolling his eyes.
“I guess I just miss the days where I was the hot one.”
“You shallow bitch, I have always been the fucking hot one what are you implying-”

Adam and Shiro’s wedding is arriving. Things don’t go as planned. The paladins are trying to help. Adam is stressed. Shiro is just happy to be there. Also, Coran takes his flower girl duties very, very seriously.
