Summary
Vincent, the news-anchor-serial-killer of Virginia is going to a media-related seminar held in a fancy hotel of New Orleans. A coworker he's been fighting the urge to kill has come with him to New Orleans.
He then stumbles across Alastor. The coworker calls Alastor by slurs. The coworker blackmails Vincent of being a homosexual.
Vincent tries to murder him, only to be found that the coworker was already killed by Alastor. Playful banter between Vincent and Alastor ensues.

“And here we have our unfortunate volunteer,” Vincent said, crouching dramatically. “Notice the elegance of positioning, the subtlety of the blood pattern. Truly, a masterclass in human error—and one might say, a bit of flair only an amateur broadcaster could truly appreciate.”
Alastor applauded softly, as though reviewing a fine orchestral performance.
“Bravo, my dear Vincent! Your commentary is impeccable. The mixture of dread and charm, carefully measured, utterly delicious.”Vincent muttered, glancing down at the corpse.
“Impeccable? Really? You’ve clearly never met a real critic.”Alastor smirked, reaching over to adjust Vincent’s tie.
“A critic? Perhaps. But for now, you have me. And I always approve of talent, particularly when accompanied by such… aesthetic precision.”Vincent scribbled more notes: Target: maximize terror, maintain popularity, ensure partner’s ego inflated sufficiently.
He looked up at Alastor.“You do realize, someday, someone is going to notice what we’re doing.”
