No responsibilities to contact agents and producers and figure out what to do next, and certainly no lines to stare at, plagued by what happened the last time you uttered them—or failed to. The idea of providing Michael with that, with safety, fills David with a familiar warmth.
Michael's had his Ian Holm moment. He tucks tail and runs to his best mate's house about it.
