With the way Jisung is sprawled on the couch, it leaves a gap in between his legs. Minho uses this to his benefit. He steps into that space, and right there on the rug, Minho drops to his knees.
“Should I get on my knees and beg? Will that make it better?” At the sound of his body hitting the floor, Jisung’s head snaps back so that he’s facing forward again. Leading him right back to Minho, who’s on the floor looking up at him, wide-eyed and reverential. “Or is that still not enough? Will I need to do more to earn your forgiveness?”
Minho calls Jisung just another one of his coworkers, and then fucks his sulking out of him.

“Yeah, Chan's my roommate,” Minho replies, unsure where this is going.
“Is... is he here?” The guy asks, frowning now, eyebrows knitted together. He seems... jittery. Like he could turn around and run off at any moment.
“Yeah, do you want me to get him?” Minho asks.
The man blinks a few times, then looks over his shoulder like he really is considering making a break for it, then turns back to Minho with his mouth pressed together. He nods, a short jerk of the head, “Yeah,” he breathes, “I’m, uh, I’m his brother.”
That gives Minho pause. “Brother?” he echoes. He can’t recall Chan ever mentioning having a brother.
The guy- Chan's brother??- doesn’t seem caught off guard by Minho's confusion at all. “Yeah. I’m Jisung,” is all he says.
Minho hasn’t heard Chan mention the name Jisung before either.

Minho had stayed up past midnight baking in the heavy, broken silence of the dorm kitchen—well, technically in Chan’s kitchen, since their own stove had given up two days ago in a dramatic pop and the acrid scent of burnt plastic.
The strawberry glaze gleamed under the overhead light, ruby bright and glass smooth, catching the shine each time he tilted the pan. The crust was perfectly golden—no dark edges, no pale patches. He’d remade it once already because the first one cracked straight through the center when it cooled. Unacceptable.
That version had been consumed in record time by the others, who had appeared as if summoned by scent alone. A sacrifice, he’d told himself dryly. An offering to appease the horde.
This one, though—this one had to be perfect.
Jisung leaves for a trip with anger still lingering between them and a promise to talk when he gets back. Minho stays behind with pride in his throat and an apology he doesn’t send.
What follows is not one clean break, but a slow unraveling — learning how grief can splinter into anger, how a future can vanish between one day and the next .
