Summary
“Shots!” Slider yells, breaking the spell, and slides the glass across their condensation-soaked table. “With salt and lime, like we’re fifteen.”
“Fuck you,” Tom replies easily, eyes drifting to Maverick again as his tongue reaches the rim of the glass. The salt is sharp but melts on his tongue.
Maverick smiles wildly at Goose. Tom kicks the shot back.
As TOPGUN continues, Tom struggles with envy, and with Maverick.

Summary
“And who do you usually talk to when you’re having a tough day?”
Kendall laughs unexpectedly. “Um,” he gets out, stifling the sound, “yeah. Probably my ex. Not wife. This girl Naomi. But before that… Stewy.”
"And who’s that? Not part of the family, I’m presuming.”
After Caroline's wedding and Tom's betrayal, Kendall comes back with no plan except to get better.

Summary
“Hey,” Stewy tries to console him, a hand on his shoulder. But Kendall comes closer and closer, almost out of body, until his head is tucked into Stewy’s chest and Stewy hears himself repeating words of comfort. His hand rests on Kendall’s back, holding him in; his head rests in the crook of his neck. Stewy breathes in, closes his eyes, breathes out.
For a moment, everything is still. It's the closest they’ll ever come to peace, probably.
Kendall and Stewy, post-Logan.

Summary
“Here I am,” he replies. As if that explains it all. As if that explains anything.
Kendall gives him a once-over. The disco lights reflect in the dark glint of his eyes. He’s still beautiful, even beaten down. “Here you are.”
"Too Much Birthday" if Stewy had decided to make himself known.
