At the beginning, when it was new, Reed had theorized there must be other universes, many of them, perhaps all of them, where they were close. And so Johnny joked, "What, so we're soulmates?" and Peter gave the ceiling his most affronted lead-paint stare for the following ten minutes.
But much later, when they were sitting in his dorm room, and Johnny was yapping his ear off about some car he had 'rescued' while leaning way too far into his personal space, Peter had to admit. If he had to be stuck with someone for all eternity or whatever, there were worse people to suffer with than Johnny Storm.

Summary
May 2026: This series is not abandoned, but please stop asking when the next work is coming. I wrote eight fics totalling 1.3mill words in 10 months. I'm allowed to take a break and work on something else. If the current date is not February 2028, do not ask me when the update is coming or if the series is abandoned. Percy has been seeing the past and the future all his life. When he was seven and about to die, he called out to Apollo for help. Apollo brought his brand new baby prophet to his oldest living son, Lee Fletcher, to care for. From there the events of Percy Jackson and The Olympians unfold, both similar to, but also entirely different from canon.
Characters are slightly different ages than canon, and some have different backgrounds. This is Percy Jackson reinterpreted with found family, far too much future knowledge and way too much involvement from the Fates.
