Granted, staying with the team was his best bet, but… the team’s chemistry was basically 0, offensively, defensively, or even when working together. What was he going to do..?

It seems that his worries were proven wrong. The team did have some kind of reliability, it wasn’t the free-for-all kind of team format he had gotten used to while attempting to pass the 20th floor test.
