Summary
Vi and Caitlyn sit in the white, sterile office as they wait for the doctor to come in with the results. Caitlyn is nervously fiddling with Vi’s fingers as Vi mentally runs through all the possibilities. Caitlyn is a healthy person. She doesn’t get sick, period. So what the hell is wrong with her?
After about seven and a half eternities, the doctor comes back in and she looks… happy?
“Congratulations,” she says, and Vi’s whole world is shifted two inches to the right at her next words. “You’re pregnant."
