Summary
A wizard falls into a waypoint. This is not the beginning of a joke, though Gale Dekarios would be the first to admit it has all the hallmarks of one.
He had a plan. The plan involved a remote location, a dignified end, and perhaps a final vintage of wine before the literal bomb in his chest ferried him to the Fugue Plane. It did not involve getting abducted, a parasite in his eye, or a woman who hoards everything and nothing with her forsaken bag of holding.
And yet.
His only hope for survival is currently prying the floorboards from a blighted apothecary. Gale is, apparently, following her.

Summary
Power was never new to you. You've spent years navigating egos wrapped in thousand-dollar suits. But Lex Luthor wasn’t just another powerful man — he was the scale by which power was measured.
On paper, he was everything the Metropolis gossip feeds loved. A flawless billionaire genius, a self-made titan wrapped in a polished humanitarian mask. The man some whispered could push humanity into its next golden age. And perhaps they were right. Perhaps he was all that and more.
But you etched close enough to see Lex Luthor clearly wasn’t that rumored sunlight. He was more a shadow dressed in silk, relentless in his grasp on everything. Including you.

Summary
It begins, like most dangerous things do, with something small and strange and almost sweet: a broken nose, a stolen night, a doggy bag pressed into the hands of a boy who should’ve been nothing more than a memory.
But she keeps him. Not in the way people keep lovers or secrets or sins. No, she keeps him the way you keep a seashell in your back-pocket. Something sharp and improbable, something that hums faintly of the ocean even when you’re miles away from it.
Baz is a tide in her life. He comes in. He pulls back out. Years pass in the space between his visits, but he always returns, drawn by something he doesn’t name, maybe the scraps of kindness she offers without asking for anything in return. Maybe the fact that she never tries to hold him still.
They are not lovers. Not family. But when the world cracks open beneath him, when Cath leaves, she arrives like she always does. Unannounced. She tells herself it’s just a visit, just time to fill, just a borrowed stretch of days while her employers sip wine in Greece and forget she exists.
But Oceanside doesn’t let you stay untouched. Not when the Codys are a current running beneath everything. And not when there’s... Pope.

“No,” Herman breathes, “no, that’s not stupid at all.”
