Summary
Merlin and Arthur have been together for two years. So, when Arthur finally got up the courage to propose, the last thing he expected was to hear the word no. What he really didn’t expect was that Merlin wouldn’t even explain why he won’t marry him. Obviously, Merlin’s magic wasn’t the only secret he had been keeping from Arthur all these years.
But there is little time to solve his relationship woes as a new king who has just ascended to the throne in a neighboring country has demanded immediate audience in Camelot.

Summary
Merlin doesn't understand why Arthur gave him his mother's sigil. Arthur doesn't understand why Merlin is so sad about planning a wedding. Or Merlin doesn't understand royal customs and Arthur doesn't know how to talk about feelings.
Basically misunderstandings that end in love confessions with a lot of emotion hurt and comfort and a bandit attack thrown in!

Summary
While hunting for a Griffin terrorizing Camelot, Arthur stumbles upon a beautiful boy injured by the beast in the forest and decides to save him.
