He was speaking again before he even realized it, “That’s not all, Mafuyu. I’m so, so proud of you for just about every reason there is to be proud of someone. Sometimes, it’s overwhelming how much I’m inspired by you.”
Mafuyu stared and Ritsuka stared back, trying confirm he wasn’t sad. “Shit, that was really sappy. I’m sorry.”

The boys are perpetually sleepy per usual, but Ritsuka more so this time. Mafuyu thinks he can somehow cure his sudden onslaught of insomnia by changing their sleepover spot to his place. He also cures their raging hormones, if only temporarily.

“I almost pity you,” L continued, without missing a beat. He leaned his head to the side, eyes still fixed on the tented front of Light’s pants. He could at least have some shame about his unbridled curiosity, Light thought. But, of course, shame wasn’t in L’s nature. Light wasn’t even sure it was in his playbook. “My offer still stands, you know.”
TLDR; Light is pent up and equally unwilling to give in to his carnal desires, but L's always there to lend a helping hand :)

Summary
As if on cue, L walked into the room and paused to observe the scene. Light was still in his shirt and pants, a blanket wrapped around his body and his limbs curled up slightly on the couch, eyes tightly closed and breathing determinedly low and steady. L made a soft noise in the back of his throat, as if it was all far too goddamn interesting.
Light lay still, but his skin was already prickling.
“Light?”
Hell no. Light didn’t respond to the soft utterance of his name, not even deigning to stir. He lay tightly coiled, refusing to acknowledge L’s presence even while feigning sleep.
And then L sat on the couch by his feet.
It took Light a lot of self-control not to jump up and punch him in the face. He was forced to shift his position, drawing his knees up so that his feet weren’t in contact with the rough fabric of L’s jeans, and accompanied the movement with an irritable mutter. He wanted L to know that even when Light was asleep, his presence was still resented.
His mood didn’t improve when a low chuckle trickled into the room. “You really think this guy’s going to buy this?” said Ryuk.
