soulmates are real; shown by marks that appear on someone's sixteenth birthday. all matched in size, color, and locations. sisters sporting a matching spiral on their ankles, a quartet of two boys and two girls sharing matching butterflies, two girls with matching hearts behind their ears. anything was a possibility when it came to soul marks and no one was alone .. well, unless you were an unmarked.
