"I don't mean to come here and freak you out," Scott said, though he knew there was no avoiding it. He'd been where they were before. It had felt like he was dying, back then. "I just don't want you to think you're the only ones, okay? There's lots of us."
Their eyes snapped to him in unison, startled and intense. Hollander croaked, "What?"
"There's over sixteen hundred guys in the MLH and AHL," he reminded them, because it had felt improbable to him when he first heard until he remembered the sheer size of the hockey world. "There's — well, we don't know how many of us there are, but there's at least seventeen of us that know each other. Plus you two. We watch out for each other."
His eyes enormous, Hollander asked, "There's, what? A secret underground gay hockey network?"
Scott shrugged. "Yeah, basically."

Ilya and Shane find their way into The Tennis Club, a network of closeted hockey players that hook up - so long as everyone keeps it casual. Which is no problem! They can do casual, right?

Gilbert Comeau was there skating across the ice, taking in the boos like they were singing his praises. And he was wearing the C. Gilbert Comeau was the captain of the Montreal Metros. Shane’s Montreal Metros. Shane’s mouth went dry. He took off his glasses, as though the slight tint would change anything, would rewrite what was stitched across Gilbert Comeau’s chest.
“What the fuck?” Rozanov balked.
“Maybe this is isn’t our timeline.” Shane uttered.
“What?” Rozanov laughed.
“Like maybe it’s an alternate reality.” Shane explained. Already, his chest felt tight. He could hear his heart in his ears, pounding with the thrum of the crowd. “Like from movies, or whatever.”
Ilya only stared at him, that look spreading across his face that Shane could never quite place. Now, though, he didn’t have time for any of this. Gilbert fucking Comeau was wearing his C, and Shane Hollander was nowhere to be found.

Being thrown back in time turned out to be less of a disaster than Tim would have thought. He had managed to stay more or less out of trouble, keep his nose clean, and even help a few people along the way! (Hopefully)
Unfortunately, things didn’t stay clean for very long, not when Tim was involved. The powers that be (and the powers that would one day be) were beginning to take notice, and Tim’s idyllic home life wasn’t going to last much longer, not unless he did something about it.

Summary
Steve’s finally done it.
After saving Barb and Will from the Mind Flayer, he confessed his feelings to Eddie – and now they’re a thing. An actual thing. Steve is on the cusp of graduating, has a summer job lined up, and Eddie is finding every available opportunity to make out with him.
Life is good. Almost perfect, really.
Except Eddie still won’t put a label on what they are, he balks at the idea of even their closest friends finding out about them, and Steve can’t help wondering if Eddie really wants him the same way Steve wants Eddie.
When Steve has visions of Billy Hargrove with black veins under his skin and of a damn meat monster tearing through the new Starcourt Mall, he realizes that figuring out his relationship status with Eddie Munson may unfortunately be the least of his problems.
