He watched as the look on Takumi’s face flipped between confusion and irritation a few times. A deeply self loathing crevice in his soul cracked open with the brilliant idea that he should provoke Takumi further.
He deserved to feel hated right now for what he was about to suggest, Takumi should hate him for this. Why not help things along?

Not even Kamyuhn had been able to shake Takumi from his comatose state. Yugamu frowned as he heard the news. He at least wanted to pop in and check on Takumi himself…. Yugamu was feeling uneasy, more so than normal. It wasn’t as strong as the feeling he got from a nearby commander, or impending sneak attack. Just a general malaise that hung over the campus, it made his skin crawl…
As he approached Takumi’s door, the feeling only got worse. Something, an instinct deep inside of him knew something had gone wrong in there. There was nothing concrete, no physical evidence of a change, nothing he could point to as proof. Yet he knew.

She swallowed thickly and shook her head, desperately wishing she had the presence of mind to reassure him properly with a winning smile and a laugh, waving it off as nothing.
Everyone else is so strong, even at the worst of times they can pull themselves together, keep calm and keep going. She was so weak in comparison, so very weak. She hid from her emotions like a scared child running from a monster.
She’s still that same kid Zac Gramarye abandoned. She hasn’t grown at all, she’s tried to convince herself that she had but she’d been wrong.

He takes off his shoes in the entryway, and Apollo tries not to scream - don’t get him wrong, he doesn’t wear shoes in the house either, but he doesn’t want Phoenix in his house. On the other hand, his boss seems both perfectly happy to stay and adamant that he's going to do so.
"You’re hiding something about Thalassa," Phoenix says. "And that concerns me because of Trucy - but also, because I’m worried about you. You won’t have much luck getting me to leave until you talk to me, kid.”
Apollo scoffs. “For a lawyer, you don’t seem to have much of a concept of trespassing.”

The kid is going to be the death of him. From courthouse bombings to head injuries to passing out in the office, Phoenix absolutely cannot keep up with all the strain Apollo keeps putting on his heart. What was it the doctors told him after his car crash? Take it easy? Yeah, right.
