Summary
Derek Hale is an Alpha werewolf with a lot of rage and hate for humans. Chased across the country with hunters on his tail in his wolf form, he gets captured by animal control during a weak moment. After his wolf is "adopted" by Stiles and his father, he quickly realizes that the needy little bitch and his dad will be great entertainment for him while he lies low and waits for the hunters to find another wolf to terrorize.

Summary
When Stiles grabs his glasses, he lets out a victory hoot, pumping his fist in excitement. He puts them back on and stands back up, leaning down to brush leaves and dirt off his knees and socks. They're a little dirty but that's okay, it's not like -
A low growl.
Fear skitters up his spine. Slowly, Stiles turns around, heart in his throat, and sees the - the werewolf.
At least he thinks it's a werewolf. It doesn't look like anyone he knows. For one thing, it's monstrous, all furry and black, standing on two hock-jointed legs. Its chest is broad, skin inky-black and shiny under the moonlight. Its hands are massive, the fingers long and curved into wicked claws. Its face is utterly inhuman, with a snout and everything.
The eyes burn like fire, searing red.
An Alpha werewolf.

Summary
Sent for their safety by their mother after an attack on the pack by a dark druid, Derek would rather be anywhere else than Bloodmere. Laura at least gets to teach, rather than be with the rabble. But he’s got to mix with them, and everyone knows casters are the worst. He may only be there for his final year, but even a year there seems like hell.
When he’s assigned a very strange dimensional mage as a roommate though, he starts to think there may be some benefits to staying there — even if he won’t stop pestering him to be on his team for some tournament.
