Hua Cheng cried out, that aggression slipping back into his voice as he tried to explain despite all the difficulties he was having controlling his body, "When… when the women go into heat, i-it makes the men crazy, fuck we go crazy, gege!" He whimpered, murmuring under his breath, "I didn't realise it was mating season already, I thought we had more time, I didn't know, we shouldn't have come here, we never should've come, should've just gone to the next port…"
It started to click into place, though Xie Lian had never seen anything quite like it before. He didn't know how seal reproduction worked. He didn't know they went into heat. And he hadn't considered what that would mean for a selkie.
