The go home machine messed up big time. Like massively. Like what the fuck.
Spider Byte was typing relentlessly to stop Miles from leaving, so much so that she didn't notice the massive 0 she typed in for destination. You would think that a zero would invalidate the entire code but no. The only way to invalidate it is to write a specific code: unknown LYLA didn't even notice the mistake and so off Miles went, to the land of the mentally unstable.
Miles has to navigate his way through the DC universe in time to get home and save his dad.
