Inko picks up the phone, tucking her starry-eyed, watery-eyed Izuku into a hug.
“First child of two Unders, Dad. Izuku ain't no secret. Not my fault nobody asks the right questions,” she corrects in a huff. “Good morning, by the way. It’s nice to hear from you. Would it kill you to model basic phone etiquette in front of the kids? Is your age finally getting to you?”
(Or, Hizashi presents his finest magic trick yet: unsticking Shouta Aizawa's head from where it is, stuck up his ass.)

Personhood and Quirk got muddled when one was used to put down people for arbitrary reasons. They’ve read books on it, but the Quirkless won't ever get ‘it’. Whatever ‘it’ is. They aren’t evolved enough to understand that ‘it’ concept, of your entire being hinging on shifted protons in one thymine chain—human genome dominos at the brink of humanity's total and whole collapse.
(Or, Izuku Midoriya falls more times than they get up, but makes it into UA, somehow, anyway.)
