“The world is little, people are little, human life is little. There is only one big thing — desire.”
-Willa CatherPortals keep popping up around Mulder. It's rather inconvenient until he realizes it's possible the universe is trying to tell him something.

Summary
"This is completely tasteless.”
Mulder shrugs a little, then. “Maybe it is—but you still came.”
“Well.” Scully clicks on her flashlight, pans it in a slow, bright arc across the cramped living room, the throat of the hallway, the faraway, ruffled back of Mulder’s dark head. The easy answer here is: Of course I did, because someone needs to make sure you stay out of trouble.
She doesn’t know how to say: Coming was my only option. It has been for a while.

"You really came all the way to Quantico to stay in your room, alone," she summarised, annoyed that she was going to be left to sit through the dinner by herself. "No," Mulder rolled his eyes. "I came to Quantico because I was told I had to come," he deadpanned. "Come on, Scully, I'm not going to sit through dinner in a room full of people who think I should be locked up in a secure unit."
Mulder and Scully have a soft epilogue after an unpleasant FBI dinner.

Summary
After surviving the events at Eden, Jong Woo wants nothing more than to return to Busan and move on with his life. He feels he's earned a break after the ordeal he just went through. But before he can so much as book his ticket home, all hell breaks loose.
The dead rise from their graves.
Unsurprisingly, the world is promptly plunged into chaos, forcing Jong Woo to once again fight for his life — this time against the undead. Which would have been bad enough all on its own but, as an added bonus, Jong Woo has to deal with the low, seductive whispers in his head and the flickering shadows in his peripheral. And, after a while, Jong Woo begins to wonder if that tall, familiar silhouette he keeps glimpsing truly is a hallucination or if it might just be the real thing.
How can he know for sure when the dead are most definitely walking?
