“You heard anything about Peter lately?” He asks quietly.
The laser-gaze across the table shuts down for a fifteen and a smoke.
“Not much, not for a while. His aunt passed,” Michelle says tonelessly.

Peter had a sense that he was prey, and this was a rattled hunter. He wasn't going to move an inch.

It's based literally less than two weeks after he got clean in Vienna with Carl, so y'know, [insert implications here]. Warning, there is some heavy talk about addiction and murder and some other hard topics. That being said, enjoy!
