Wilbur looks behind him. The brute didn’t seem to be behind him anymore. Which couldn’t be a good sign.
So he skids to a halt and ducks into an alley. If the brute had skedaddled off to set up an ambush, Wilbur did not want to be there.
He carefully scans the people walking down the street. Regular dudes and gals. Just doing normal human things.
A hybrid or two crossed his line of sight, but no piglins. Especially none big enough to be a brute. There had been a pair of elytrians that had peaked his interest.
Not that Wilbur particularly cared about that.
No… he was far more invested in the gold strands that rested on the father-son duo’s heads. Too bad kidnapping was illegal.
“What we lookin’ at?” A monotone voice behind him asks.
Frick.
The Blood King found him.
