Or, Dick actually cared about Jason and loved hanging out with him, so when Jason dies, he grieves and doesn't take shit from Bruce or Tim ^^

Summary
Padmé left. Ahsoka was betrayed. Obi-Wan let him fall.
Anakin Skywalker is done with the Jedi. Done with the Code. Done with pretending he wants to live.
Now the Republic’s most terrifying general, he takes suicidal missions, shouts at the battlefield to kill him harder, and dares the Force to make up its mind. The clones follow him out of loyalty. Kix keeps a medical kit and a defibrillator on hand. And the public? They call him a hero.
Then Mandalore calls for help. Maul has returned. Satine begs the Senate for aid. And Anakin—no longer a Jedi, no longer sane—is sent to answer.
Bo-Katan expects a martyr. What she finds is a whirlwind of destruction and grief in a general’s body. Together, they kill Maul. Anakin hands Satine the Darksaber and tells her peace was never enough.
Mandalore survives. The war ends early. Palpatine doesn’t live long enough to crown himself Emperor.
