Summary
Denji was thirteen, then fourteen, and he could say three things with confidence: he had a devil as a friend, he was fucking hungry, and he wanted to have a girlfriend. Or something. Look, it was as close to confident as he was ever going to get, so he might as well include it in the dumb list.
If not that, then—
The third item would really have to be that he just wanted to bash this one guy’s head in, you know, and finally be done with his dad’s shitty but ginormous debt.

Summary
Choso is a regular 17 year old who is juggling house chores, two jobs, four lovely brothers, and a Mahito. He promised himself it was the last time he is risking his safety for this nuisance of a friend he has been cursed with, but deep down knew that it was already 5th time he promised himself that, and that there will definitely be a 6th and 7th too.
He managed to convince himself that it wasn't that big of a deal, he was being careful, he will get Mahito out of the mess he got himself into, and that will be the end of it. How hard could it be? Even if the people Mahito messed with will try to come after him again, they will go after Mahito, not him or his brothers.
If he thinks about it this way then there was no risk at all in going to the mansion on the outskirts of the city, to help his friend escape from the heir of the biggest electronic company in Japan. And yet somehow, said heir decided to become yet another curse plaguing Choso's life.

Summary
Zuko had never excelled at anything. Azula was a prodigy. Uncle always knew what to say. And Father... Father was strong, iron-like. But Zuko had only ever been good at surviving. Putting one foot in front of the other in a grim show of stubborn determination, gritting his teeth and bearing it. Survival was all he had ever been taught. He knew how to do it. So when he was kidnapped by the Southern Water Tribe, he expected to fight as he always had. He didn’t expect to be taught instead how to live.
In a warring land, the Water Tribe forgave the enemy in an act of defiance. For this, he was torn from them, and this time, his wounds won't heal so easily.
Forced back into nothing but survival, the last person Zuko expected to see was Hakoda's son. Hakoda was a promise of safety. The relentless blue of Sokka’s eyes was a promise of happiness. Zuko could have both if he just reached out his hands, but he found them clutching into fists. After all, he’d been burned one too many times.
But hey, at least between Hakoda and Sokka, Zuko could appreciate the family resemblance of pure, asinine stubbornness.

It’s a sad day at the academy when their teacher tells them that the class clown, Naruto, died in an accident last night. Sakura should be sad, or maybe a little distressed. Well, she’s a lot distressed. Not because Naruto is dead. No, she’s distressed because she woke up this morning with Naruto’s voice in her head panicking and telling her that he was attacked last night. Now he’s cussing out the teacher in her head because 'it wasn’t an accident! I was attacked, you lying bastard!' while Inner tries to calm him down.
