Marjorie Graham lost everything after the Battle of Culloden — her parents, her home, the life her father had built for them in the Highlands. Fortunately, she had family left willing to take her in. Summary
Clarissa Moriston has never watched Black Clover. She’s never watched any anime, really. It’s not that she has anything against anime, she just has a long enough watchlist already that she’s just never gotten around to it. That doesn’t mean she doesn’t know about Black Clover, though. Clarissa’s best friend, Josie, knows every second of the show and every page of the manga by heart and has ranted about it at length many times.
On what should have been a normal trip to Europe, Clarissa and Josie find their way to a castle which looks almost exactly like one of the grimoire towers from Black Clover. In fact, the only reason they’re there at all is because Josie says it’s the one they based that grimoire tower off of— not that Clarissa really knows what that means. While inside, Clarissa picks up an old book with a clover on the front and almost immediately passes out.
When she opens her eyes, the tower and Josie are gone, but the book is still in her hand. It only takes a few moments for Clarissa to realize what’s happened. She’s somehow in Black Clover. Now she must rely only on what Josie has told her to try and survive in this brave new world until she can find a way home. If she even wants to go home…

Needless to say, she didn’t like getting too attached to anyone that she met.
But when Benjamin Mears made his appearance in Virginia’s life, she thought that maybe he would be the one good thing who would actually stick around in this godforsaken town. Until the accident that killed his parents took Ben away from her, too.
Years later, Virginia continues to work a dead-end job at the town’s small diner, where her childhood friend comes waltzing back into her life and asks for her help on his next book. However, she and Ben will quickly realize that the quiet Maine town they spent those short years together is no longer the same, for something sinister is lurking around the Lot, in which both Virginia and Ben are determined to stop it. And it just might be what brings them closer like before and more hell-bent on not losing each other again.

But as much as he keeps trying, as much as he tries to find his place in the puzzle of life, he's starting to lose hope there's room for him at all.
Until a head of shimmering gold guides his way.
Or: A rewrite of Bones, including my OC. Since I hate how the show portrayed Lance most times, and I severely dislike Daisy and their relationship. I took matters into my own hands.
