“So you have another meeting or something later on?” You probed, clearly wanting as much information as possible. Zayne looked at you and noticed your intrigue, squinting briefly before questioning you in turn.
“I’m assuming the hunters association provided you with a job meant to gather information, is this correct?” You nod your head slightly, becoming sheepish at your enthusiasm. You look at Zayne and Yvonne who make eye contact with each other, speaking to one another almost telepathically. Yvonne smirks and Zayne’s brows crease, not in confusion, but in skepticism.
“I mean…it’s only fair that Doctor Zayne has his best medical assistant at his side right? For informational purposes of course.”
A smile blooms on your face as Zayne rubs his temples.
“I’m going to lose my medical license at this rate.”
