Summary
Olethra was right when she said the Amphemereon was abandoned. The halls of the Corrodi are coated in a film of dust, disturbed only by the footprints of the crew of the Zephyr, but he feels uncomfortable regardless. His iron heart is only exacerbating the issue, the contempt he holds for the Corrodi strengthening that pit of fear forming at the back of his chest, the grief as he remembers the destruction of his comrades. How many of their parts were used in this place’s construction? Does he stand, even now, on the corpses of his brethren?

Summary
Kipperlilly reaches down and grabs the hand that is not currently engaged in playing with her Quokki Pet and drags her upwards. Mary Ann scrambles to put her stuff together, just barely getting a grip on her axe before Kipperlilly is dragging her across the courtyard toward a group of freshmen sitting at a picnic table. For reasons Mary Ann won’t understand for another two years, she allows herself to be pulled along.

Tubbo is reminded of Tommy’s first radio, the one they crowded around during the first war. Him, Tommy, and Fundy sat on a cot listening to Fred Astaire, turned down low enough that Eret wouldn’t overhear the three of them tangled up with an ear to the box, listening. Music was Tommy’s first love, so it became Tubbo’s, too.

Summary
Max’s expression is calm in a way she hasn’t seen before, brows unfurrowed and his mouth relaxed, bottom lip slightly hanging open. He’s not wearing his glasses, which Olethra hasn’t seen him do outside of a fight. It’s a far cry from Max on the battlefield, when he sports a manic grin and darting eyes, and even Max on the ship, who looks perpetually frustrated. Right now Max just looks focused, face relaxed in a way she wants to remember. So she decides to leave him alone.

She can hear the quiet conversation of her parents from inside the den, making out a few words about hunting and water and her. She can hear her father’s usually gruff voice softening. They’re worried about her, and she hates making them worry, but she can’t help it. Cloud is alive and she’s going to come, and if her parents want to be asleep when it happens, that’s fine because Olethra won’t be and she’ll be more than happy to wake them.

“Dammit, Michael, be quiet!” He hisses, but Michael shoves him off.
“She’s not getting a burial?!” He hisses back, still mindful of his volume. “We’re-we’re just dumping her in Browse?”
“I don’t want her to be a spectacle! She’ll be all wrapped up in this Fazbear Curse, I just want her to rest.” He reasons, stepping towards Michael, but Michael keeps moving away.
“People will notice! Have you told Henry? Or fucking, what about her friends? What about mom?” Michael says.
“Michael, just shut up, and help me carry her!” His dad yells, losing control of his volume. He tightens his hands into fists, before relaxing, and sighs. “Just do this one thing, this one fucking thing for her.”
Michael huffs, but doesn’t respond. His dad walks back towards the truck, and Michael follows.-

Summary
It is not uncommon for Tubbo to catch Schlatt and Quackity in a battle of wills, especially lately. He usually avoids this like the plague, trying not to get on Schlatt’s bad side and blow his cover. He also doesn’t want to screw over Quackity, who he has a very tense truce with right now.
But tonight, he’s so tired, and they’re standing in front of the exit. Tubbo spent today trying to pick up Schlatt’s slack on the diplomacy front, fielding calls to the Greater SMP and trying to establish any kind of trade. In Tubbo’s briefcase are transcripts and copies of every conversation he has had and everything he’s written down this week. He is expected to deliver these to a rendezvous point currently twelve miles from his location.
Point is, he needs out of here, as soon as possible. And he’s willing to risk a run-in with his coworkers for it.
