“What the fuck did I just fix?” Ikkaku breathes out. She’s keeping one hand firmly on Law’s shoulder, out of sheer instinct, but the other is creeping towards her boilersuit’s hidden pocket and the knife tucked inside.
“As I said, my voicebox! Oh, it’s going to be so delightful to hold a proper conversation again, and- AHA! SHACHI!” Somewhere else in the ship, echoing down the metal corridors, they hear the young man’s startled shriek, presumably as the- Tang? Ghost of the Tang? Talks directly to him. “Yes you, stop screaming, it’s only me- stop leaving your dirty clothes lying about! Don’t you know how much bacteria can generate from just a single smelly sock? Captain is quite particular about such things, as you good and well know-!”
“...Ikkaku,” Law mutters, while the voice abruptly drops in volume a second time - they can still hear the echo of it, elsewhere, presumably continuing to fuss at Shachi, but it’s no longer talking in two places at once. “Our ship talks.”

She comes to the conclusion that she MUST have been kidnapped and that Karma took pity on her dumbass and smote her captors.

This was so beautiful. The way she was able to touch and reach so many people just by being herself. Kinda disappointed she and Luffy will not meet but I feel like her going back to the see fit her narrative well. It was really good, really felt like a Ghibli Movie. Sad, but very hopeful. The last chapter had me bawling my eyes out. 😭🥰
