Talia turns to him, moonlight flickering off of her impossibly black eyes. Despite having been running through the woods while evading the League of Assassins-–to where, Jason had no idea-–she appeared no more disheveled than if they were on a morning stroll. Her heavy brows raise as she tilts her head in feigned confusion.
“Awfully cryptic today, aren’t we, Jason?” she says lightly. “Since you’ve clearly reawakened lacking any sense of urgency, I’ll say this once: shut up and run.”

Or, another 'Jason Todd Returns to Gotham' probably told for the millionth time. Will attempt to be a somewhat canon compliant/realistic take/character study version of that, I guess? Though canon compliant Jason Todd character study means literally nothing considering he's top characters most famous for being inconsistently written. So this will mostly draw from Batman: Under the Red Hood, Red Hood: Lost Days, and for Jason's backstory will align with Batman #408-416. -

Bittor sighed. “He’s fine. I knocked him unconscious, but I told the sisters to let him out in a few hours. He’ll be far behind. Lena, I know you care for him, and he for you, but he’s not on our side. Cas will be after us, and we can’t predict what will happen if he catches up—”
“—I know.” Lena cut him off. She did not want to hear about what would happen if Cas caught up to them. Something needled in her stomach. “What do you mean you told to sisters to let him out? Let him out of where?”
Bittor waved his hand dismissively. “The lower chamber. Didn’t want to touch anything that disgusting bastard of a doctor used, but there wasn’t much else.” He shrugged. “Chained him up to the wall.”
Lena’s blood went cold.

Summary
Andrew Minyard is just as irritating as the pain currently in his wrists is.
Neil rubs at them, shoves his hands in his pocket on his run to practice, and inevitably pulls them out to rub at the ache again. It's a fruitless effort, nothing he does will ease it, but the instinct remains.
It doesn't help when Neil watches Andrew kick the court's wall and his own foot throbs.
