“Christ,” Hanamaki says. “Just get your little hockey player to pretend he’s your boyfriend.”
Tooru sits up at that, tousled strands of hair falling into his flushed face. “Are you completely insane?”
“I think it’s a good plan,” Matsukawa says, unerringly loyal to the end. “You’re so smart, babe.”
“It’s an awful plan,” Tooru hisses. “What am I supposed to say? Sorry I’ve been actively antagonizing you and your team for a bit, please pretend to be my boyfriend to keep my career alive, and also if you notice I get hard when you’re near me, don’t pay it any mind, I just think you’re mega hot?”
“Not exactly like that,” Hanamaki says. “But yeah, that’s the gist of it.”Tooru hits a small snag on his path to Olympic gold medalling. It's more fun to resolve than anticipated.

"Who's there?!" Hinata demanded, braver than he felt. "Show yourself!"
A figure, tall and broad, materialized from the darkness. As the light made his features manifest, Hinata realized part of the sheer breadth of him was leant by the sumptuous cloak draped over his shoulders. A cold dark gaze glared down at him, an otherwise picturesque mouth bared in a snarl.
"What are you doing in my castle?" the King growled.

Florida is a scary place. Thankfully, Asahi meets Noya, aka Florida man extraordinaire.
Asahi tries new foods, trespasses on private property, deals with an alligator, and admires the natural landscape, and is oblivious to Noya's attempts at flirting.
///
The list is slowly checked off, and Asahi makes his way to the checkout counter. A cashier wearing a bright green button-up and a black apron greets him. He has dark hair that’s gelled up with a tuft of blonde in the front and piercings on his ears. He looks really badass. He smiles cheerfully. “Hello! Did you find everything okay?”
Wow, Asahi thinks, my first cool person in Florida.

He likes Miya Atsumu in everything he is, from the dorky emails to the way he looks, from the childish giggles to the soft, muffled laughs when Kiyoomi attempts to joke back. Yeah, no, that was terrible…
Kiyoomi smiles at his computer screen. And then he tries to gulp it down, pressing his lips against each other so hard they’re white, his nails digging into his thighs, his eyes almost bulging out because oh, fuck of all fucks.
He probably likes Miya Atsumu way too much, doesn’t he?
or: kiyoomi hates the fact that his new cybersecurity job involves reading other people’s emails. that is, of course, until miya atsumu shows up.
