Summary
When Aeron was eight, he got lost in the little forest that the Brackens called Honeytree Forest and that the Blackwoods insisted on naming Spiderwood. The villages of Spiderwood and Honeytree lay on opposite edges of the forest and each answered to a different liege lord. As such the forest itself was no-man’s land - or rather the land of two men, who each lay claim to it.
Or: Aeron and Davos meet as children and in the years following they become everything to each other.
