In truth, the blame lies within both, something deep and primal that they have forgotten lies in wait for the moment it could rear its head, something that invades the mind and releases the chains holding down long-hidden feelings. Summary
Moses had been raised as a brother's advisor, not as a Queen. Ramses had never agreed to that arrangement, so when their father became ill, Ramses placed his brother right by his side, as he had always intended. Whether a blessing or a curse, Moses has performed all the duties expected of a Great Royal Wife with great skill and he wants to leave it all behind.
A dream and a meeting with the slaves his brother despises may provide him with the opportunity to leave it all behind, but there is no guarantee that the entire Egyptian army would not follow Moses, his people, and his valuable cargo as he attempts to leave Egypt's cities behind him.
