Ilya extended his hand lazily, but his eyes dragged over Shane in a way that made his stomach flip unpleasantly. Or pleasantly. He couldn’t tell. Was Ilya flirting?

Shane inhaled sharply and grabbed Ilya’s hand. Their palms met with an audible smack. Shane squeezed with every ounce of strength he had.
“We’re going to destroy you this season,” he said through his teeth. He meant it. Every fiber of him meant it.
Ilya didn’t wince. If anything, his smile deepened. “I can handle you,” he replied quietly.
