Summary
Tony could sense the self-satisfied murmur of computer from across the room and the inquisitive trilling of the cameras in front of him. Which, he knew on an intellectual level, should feel strange. It should be weird that he can hear electronics talking to themselves and taste electricity like mint on his tongue, but it didn’t feel weird. At this point he was just rolling with it and saving the freakout for later; he also wasn’t discounting the possibility that he was, in fact, losing his mind.
Tony Stark comes out of Afghanistan with powers he doesn't understand and the determination to make the most of the second chance he'd been given. Even though he saves the world (a lot), the most important thing he does may be when he gives others that same second chance.

The fact of the matter was that he'd woken up in a dumpster with the worlds worst headache. But he had no idea how he got there or what'd happened before. Just that he'd woken up in a shitty suit with something wrapped around the upper part of his head and face. The crappy thing was that even after he took the thing off his face, he still couldn't see.
He had no idea about any of it... including who 'he' was.

So it was a bad idea to hitch a ride on that particular comet hurtling toward this particular planet with its particularly inhospitable atmosphere of literal hellfire. So sue them. No one handed Venom a map or anything when they said “go forth and conquer.”
So he was briefed with a map and a mission to gut a lab full of researchers poking sticks at something the handlers want in on. That doesn’t make this his fault. Does make it his problem, though, that no one told the Winter Soldier to watch out for possessed rabbits.

Will knew what had happened. He knew exactly how Abigail's ear had gotten into him, who had shoved it down his throat. He also knew that trying to indicate Hannibal as a killer again was futile. Jack seemed to want to believe him, going by the conversation in the BSHCI's visitor hall, but Jack needed something concrete, evidence. Hannibal had eluded capture for so long, he wasn't going to start leaving fingerprints or hairs at his crime scenes now.
No, Will was going to deal with Hannibal Lecter on his own terms. The man deserved to reap what he'd so carefully sowed, didn't he? He deserved to experience what he'd coaxed forth from the bottom of Will's soul, to see the result of his machinations.

Mr. Murdock looked puzzled for a moment before it seemed to click. “Oh, Mr. Parker! I didn’t realize it was you. It’s good to meet you,” His smile returned, and he extended his hand. Peter shook it hard enough to seem professional, but not so hard as to break the guy's hand.

Dick has a hundred arguments prepared to defend the name if Bruce ever finds out, somehow-- he’ll respond to it reliably, first and foremost. But they’re all excuses, flimsy ones, for the real reason.
Dick fastens the earpiece in place. Takes a deep breath.

Through the carnage came a figure cloaked in shadow, she appeared to move through the bodies rather than step on top of them. Even standing somewhere around seven or eight feet tall, she was far too humanoid to be a foe, they had long since abandoned their ruse of playing at humanity. She wore a cloak that appeared to dissipate and knit together like threads of smoke, the gossamer threads like the grey of a new dawn. Under the hood, he could only just make out her eyes, a clouded sky blue, pupils, and her gaze unending.
She stopped before him, their eyes meeting through his tears. There was no empathy in her gaze, only his own agony reflected back at him, though her hand was light as a soft breeze as she tipped his chin up.
“Please,” Dick said, even though he didn’t know what he was asking for: release, mercy, death.
“You long to go back.”
“Yes.”
“For a different outcome.”
Dick nearly choked on the word, “yes.”
“I can make it so. I can give you the gift of foresight, but I warn you, it comes at great sacrifice as it does for anyone else who it is bestowed upon.”
Dick Grayson may not be able to change everything, but my god, is he going to try.
