It’s the middle of the night and Tim has no idea why he’s outside the Wayne manor. He doesn’t remember the walk from the Drake residence to his neighbor’s, can’t fathom why he’s even here in nothing but a sleep shirt and boxers. He doesn’t recall vomiting, but clearly it happened, because he’s staring at a puddle of his own sick on the ground.
Dear god, he thought over the buzzing in his skull. I just threw up on Batman’s front steps.
Hurt and disoriented, Tim finds himself outside the Wayne Manor. Good thing there’s people inside who care about him.

Summary
The word dark alone did not aptly describe his grave site. It did no justice to the thud of bare feet pounding splintered word, held no regard for the rawness of bloodied fingers clawing against a wooden cage. In the race between life and death, the primal urge to scream his heart out had won out against all sense; muffled by the ground and heavy as snow. The water level rose slowly; first just kissing his back, then to his ankles, now approaching his hips.
He doesn’t care what Beldaruit said later. It smelled like death to him.
