With a groan he grabs his lunch pack from under his desk, silently cursing the ‘only allowed to eat in the break room’ rule. Gaara hears everyone before he turns the corner. He rolls his neck while giving himself a pep talk.
“You can do this. Find a spot at an empty table, don’t make eye contact, don’t bump into anyone, sit down, eat, get up, go back to work. You can do this. It’s just like high school and you survive that. You can survive this too.” He nods to himself. “You can do this.”

His sister Raised an eyebrow at his question, but Gaara could already tell that his siblings were far too invested in his romantic life and it hadn't even began. “The third date is like… how you know you really like someone.”
