After some trouble with his family, Cooper ends up on Zoey's doorstep, looking for a bit of an escape. Nothing extreme, or anything - just a few hours to crash and catch his breath.
Finding Cooper there was about the last thing Zoey had expected that night, but she wasn't one to turn a friend away, either. Even if it was a little weird, and awkward, and they didn't know each other all too well. That didn't matter. When it came to protecting the people she cared for, she never went less than all the way.
