I guess I'm stuck forever by the glue, oh, and you.Parents X Together is a reality television show where each season, two or more famous people have to take care of a baby for one hundred days. An influencer that Kai Monteago has worked with before convinces him to participate in the show together—just for the same influencer to have to cancel due to unforeseen injuries a week before filming was supposed to start.
Too scared to fully backtrack on the showrunners after it was announced who would be on the new season, Kai now needs to find someone else to take care of a baby with. As luck has it, Damon Maitsu agrees to help him. He's not his first choice, honestly, but he probably won't find a better option this last minute. He's a little scared of the fact he'll have to leave a fourteen-month-old girl named Trinity with Damon sometimes, but it turns out that Damon is actually really good with kids!
Damon is really soft when it comes to kids, actually. Kai has never seen that side of him before, and seeing it now is making him feel weird...

Summary
Canadian youth have been getting more interested in Canadian politics as of late. Damon Maitsu is the youngest in his political party, so he was told that he needs to get the youth to like their political party more before the federal election begins to vote for the new Canadian prime minister, since the last one, Diana Venicia, lied about being an adult. He is told to audition for a gay television show called Heated Ovens for the role of the love interest, Wolfgang Akire. Damon gets the role, and since it feels wrong to leave, he stays in the show even after the election ends and his political party doesn't win. Funny how Diana's friend, Kai Monteago, and his political party won, but Damon doesn't think too much of it.
But Damon does think about how Kai seems to want his attention. Damon's political party is the opposition, so Kai has to be planning something because of that fact. He just needs to figure out what it is...

As a washed-up ex-ultimate, he now spends his days glued to the counter of a cash register, under the scrutiny of everyone who knew his better days: fans, friends, and, worst of all, family. Daily, the constant reminders of his failure to succeed eat away at his mental health, and at what he assumes is rock bottom, Kai struggles to pull himself out of. However, unbeknownst to him, he is not there alone.
Strangely, the last person he expected to share his sinking ship with, was the only person he thought for sure knew how to swim.

"That!" Damon snapped, and Kai startled as he gestured impatiently to the ceiling. He was too keyed up to feel even slightly bad. “Are you deaf?! Tozu’s using recordings of my conversations with her to get to me!”
There was a moment of tense silence, where the remnants of Damon’s shouts — more hysterical and desperate than he would ever admit to — reverberated off the walls. Kai’s face had fallen, and now he just stared. It danced on Damon’s nerves like nothing else. He was about to launch into more yelling when Kai brought his knuckle down from his eye.
“Um,” he began, stilted. “The intercom isn’t even on, though.”
