doesn't overstay it's welcome but still a decently sized read while being well written and unqiue (as always with this author!). could easily have branched into a longer series retelling but i appreciate that everything you need to know about the future of this version of the wizarding world is already said perfectly. really appreciated how the estranged sibling dynamic was handled in this one as well!

Summary

While traveling across the lands, Naruto and Sasuke are forced to confront what lies between them. They make a lot of discoveries about themselves, their past, and their true feelings for each other.
Very slow burn, canonverse, Sasuke POV (he is an unreliable narrator at times, be warned!). Honestly my take on what should have happened at the end of the anime.

this is heartbreaking, but so so so so so beautiful. this is one of those times that i wish fanfic was accepted more wildly in the literature realm because this is beautifully written fiction
