Summary
Cal Kestis was not having a very good day. Or life. But at the very least he knew how to manage.
Someone would try to kill him, he'd fight until he was bloody and bruised, take a probably unhealthy amount of stims, then rinse and repeat.
That was normal. Expected, even.
What was not normal was waking up surrounded by pointy-eared near humans claiming that he was one of their lineage.
Or, I drop Cal into the Linked Universe because he deserves as much found family as I can give him

A startled red-haired child stared up at him. The kid waved shyly and Marev absently waved back.
That is most definitely not a cadet. Cadet-sized for sure, just not from the shores of Kamino.
"Kar'ta? Fangs?" Marev called, faux-calm. "Who is this?"
"I'm Cal Kestis." The kid introduced timidly.
Marev knelt down to Cal's eye level and took his bucket off, if only to soothe the little Jedi. And a Jedi is definitely what this one is, if the beige robes are anything to go by.
Marev's eye twitched as he imagined Kar'ta and Fangs invading the Jedi Temple and kidnapping the tiny child.
"I'm Commander Marev of the Iron Battalion." Marev told Cal gently. "Where is your Jedi guardian?"
Cal fidgeted with the edge of his sleeves and Marev could feel the bashfulness lacing the motion.
"Master Tapal's in a meeting right now."
Or, Clone Commander Marev of the 13th Battalion meets Padawan Cal Kestis for the first time and has several concerns.

“I ain't been racing, man,” Noah objects, crossing his arms. “Unless I've been doin’ it in my sleep.”
His companion digs around in his bag for a minute before retrieving a small camcorder. He flips it open, scrolls through a couple of videos and holds it up for Noah to see.
It's a very crappy video, filmed with shaky hands and a poor-quality camera, but it's more than enough for Noah to see himself skidding by in some low-slung sports car that he definitely does not own. He's cheering as he crosses the finish, fist pumping in the air, and, nah, he thinks he'd remember that.
Mirage has been using Noah's face for street racing. Noah just wants to know why.
