260616—260620 // i loved lynne so much. she was written beautifully. this fic made me cry
She wouldn't recognize him, but she'd love him anyway. There has to be at least one person who does, or there wouldn't be anybody.
But she doesn't have him. With every second he's already slipping inexorably further away.
It hasn't occurred to her before now that she might be as lonely as her dad.
His gaze flicks to hers, and she sees the bite marks the monsters have already left on his skeleton. They're eating their way out of him. Consuming him alive, subsuming the place in his face where Lynne dwells.
If Will slips into self-destruction, too, there will not be enough glue sticks and pushpins in the whole world to keep the remnants of herself from crumpling.
It's just like with her mom. Lynne is not good enough to prevent anything, to protect anyone. She is not enough.
An orphan's instinct at the discovery of a caretaker with the potential to so easily prove himself true with only a little digging to make sure. The wolf within the deerskin, chewing its way in to somewhere safe. Somewhere wanted. “Your daughter, Lynne.”
“Good,” Abigail says again. “Don't poke around. Don't be rude. And don't eat the meat.”
Lynne knows one of the monsters which is eating him. The one toying with him, the one strong and sly enough to stake its claim and fend off all who oppose it. The kingliest and most glorious of beasts, exalted and selfish and terribly, inescapably human.
Hannibal truly does love Will Graham. Loves him as deeply and earth-shatteringly as the grinding of tectonic plates, as possessively and hungrily as a plague loves the bodies of its people, and with a love as contrary and yearning and in some ways as petty as that of Lynne's classmates on Valentine's Day. And he hadn't even realized it.

Summary
When Harry blows up Aunt Marge, Dumbledore decides he can't be left to his own devices in Diagon Alley for the whole of August and sends him to stay with the only person available - one highly displeased Severus Snape. Harry, for his part, doesn't think this summer could get any worse. After all, what could be more unpleasant than living with Professor Snape?
Finding out that Draco Malfoy is also staying at Spinner’s End, of course.
None of them know how they'll survive a month in each others' company, but they might just come out the other side with something they all need the most: a family.

260615—?
ch. 4
Harry remembered just being so shocked that there were so many people in the house who actually wanted to spend time with him. He should have been happy about that, but for some reason it had evoked such a heart-wrenching sadness in him. He hadn’t been able to properly enjoy it as a consequence.

made me laugh, made me cry so much. i think my favorite scene was the spontaneous field trip, when they all just lay down on a field in the middle of nowhere and look at the stars. i really wanted to live inside this story at that moment.ch. 1
Being The Guy only makes him mad, and anger is familiar. Anger is an older sister.
ch. 2
And Jungkook would say, "They think I should move on from you being dead."
And Jiwon would laugh. She would be the only person who would understand Jungkook now. Who would understand how fucking crazy their parents are.
Yeah. Jungkook really misses having Jiwon around.
ch. 3
Jungkook used to think death was like a person walked out of the room and didn't return. And what he didn't know was that death is actually like he walked out of the room and the room with the person locked behind his back and no matter how much he was going to knock on the door now, trying to break in, it wouldn't budge. He would scream, yell, and cry, but the person would still be on that side of the door and Jungkook would stay on his.
ch. 4
Nothing in this life is infinite, even if it looks or feels like it. Everything has an end: this trip, this night, their star-gazing hour.
Jungkook just can't believe that it's not here anymore, that it will never come back, that Yoongi will never get to have coffee with Jiwon ever again, that he might not get such a great gossip partner as Jiwon ever again, that Yoongi will never feel as safe with anyone as he must've felt with Jiwon, the first person who accepted him as he was. Jungkook can't believe Jiwon will never make another animated movie and will never draw again and it all was in vain, the Scouting Programme, her wedding, her dreams, her friendships, her sorrows.
"Oh, we know I would," Yoongi says. "Because in every universe, in every game, I will always choose you. I will always want to see you, Jungkook."
ch. 5
Naida will never wake up tomorrow. Jiwon will never wake up tomorrow. Jungkook, for now, will wake up tomorrow, and tomorrow, and after tomorrow.
He and Yoongi sit down on both sides of Seokjin. They sit in silence, three men most loved by her, three men who loved her most.
"You must have led a good life, to be afraid to die,"
Next to each other, they always feel perpetually wrong, eternally sad, and incessantly happy. And that's kind of nice, to be able to exist multidimensionally with someone in this lifetime.

Summary
"You will likely feel much better after a good night’s sleep. The difficulty with illness, of course, is that it can be difficult to achieve quality sleep when you are uncomfortable. May I give you something to help you sleep?”
“What, like, Benadryl or something?”
“Something stronger.”
Will is sick. Hannibal takes full advantage.
