At twenty-three, Anne Boonchuy has her life figured out. She survived a trans-dimensional war, reconciled with her best friends, and landed her dream job as a herpetologist at the Aquarium of the Pacific. She still misses Sprig, Hop Pop, and Polly everyday, but her time of fighting cyborgs and fulfilling ancient prophecies is officially retired. Until a massive cosmic clerical error sends her hurtling 1,000 years into Amphibia's past. Waking up in the ancient valley, Anne realizes three horrifying things:
1: She is stuck in the past, right after the Calamity Box was hidden.
2: She is now an actual, blue frog.
3: The paranoid red frog she just bumped into is Leif Plantar, who thinks Anne is just a very weird gardener.She is finally back in the mud of the world she’s ached for, but the Plantar family she knows and loves won't be born for another millennium. Armed with nothing but her biology degree and the devastating knowledge of the future, Anne is faced with an impossible choice. Does she lay low and hope the timeline corrects itself so she can return to her adult life? Or does she risk erasing her own existence to stop King Aldrich, break the Core's grip, and save Andrias from 1,000 years of misery?
