Oscar's nest is, objectively, embarrassing.
He knows this. He's always known this. It's the kind of thing he's never let himself look at too directly, the way you don't look directly at a bruise you keep pressing anyway — the wrongness of it sits in the peripheral of his self-awareness, tender and purple-edged.

Summary
My original character, Nova, somehow finds herself in One Piece. However, everything is much different than the show she's used to watching. The characters aren't just characters, anymore, and everyone seems much more alive than even she herself feels. Still struggling with what little life she had for herself she left behind; she struggles to grasp that not only is this world real, but its more dangerous and much stranger than what she saw on TV.
She wouldn't have it any other way, though.
